Today Mommy had fun watching me eat a granola bar...not sure what the big deal was, but she seemed to be having fun so I went along with it (she is always asking me to look at her and say "cheese"!). She also tried to take a picture of the two of us...my flip flop got in the way. Silly flip flop! Later, my cousins stopped by to play with me and we had a blast splashing in my little pool, squirting water and bubble guns and running through my crazy caterpillar sprinkler! Love you, DrewDrew and Ally!
Take a wild guess at who may have had part in this...can't leave them alone for a second that's for sure! Using her lovely painting techniques...for the record, globs of meticulously placed crayola paint really do produce a nice result. I just didn't have time to take any pictures, honest!
Big girl ponytail I found this yesterday when I came out of the kitchen Her first wagon! Kate woke up to the red wagon Michael put together late last night and she didn't want to get out of it all morning long. Thank you Papa T and Mama Lynn for a wonderful birthday gift!
This is Kate not so happy that she cannot go outside in her puddle boots right now...
How time does fly! My daughter is a happy girl, but two things that make her extra happy are 1) being outside and 2) painting! I have been waiting for a day just like today to bust out the washable paints! This is last summer... ...and now!
After my wonderful husband gave me the amazing gift of sleeping in, I decided rather randomly that this was the perfect morning to let Kate try out her raincoat. She has been asking for "puddle boots" for a week now, but since I haven't found any her size we use her snow boots instead...a soggy idea, but oh well. I love how she gets so excited about the smallest things!
Yesterday was just plain gorgeous outside, so Kate and I decided to plant flowers in the backyard. She thoroughly enjoyed digging in the dirt, looking for earthworms and watering the soon-to-be-seedlings.
So my daughter and I are playing an exhilarating game of "I Spy" when I say: I spy something white (meaning the white house across the lawn). She quickly answers while patting my leg: Mommy white!
Loving this weather! Daddy and son Our little toddler had to be squirted off afterwards...unfortunately for more reasons than one!
